Celebrating 35 years of ISF!

This year, we’re excited to be celebrating 35 years of engineering success!

Started by our founder Iain Scott, in 1989, ISF started from humble beginnings from a small workshop and ‘one man in a van’ to a 25 strong team serving animal feed milling clients up and down the UK.

As the business has grown, we have stayed true to our core values of technical excellence, nurturing our team, valuing our customers, having integrity, and striving for the best environmental practices. Having strong foundations has undoubtedbly helped to push the business forwards and seen us through many ups and downs over the years.

how we’re giving back

To celebrate our anniversary year, we are holding three events across the year, with the goal of celebrating with the team, raising money for causes close to our hearts and having some fun along the way.

13th to 17th May – ISF Cycle Challenge – MacMillan Cancer Care

14th June – ISF Birthday – Team Celebration at York Races

8th September – Three Peaks Walk – St Leonards Hospice

We want to raise a total of £3500 across all three events. Any donations would be much appreciated, so if you have anything to give please donate on our Just Giving page.

Head to our blog here for more information about each fundraiser and watch out for updates on our news page and social media pages!

"Now that the dust has settled and contractors are gradually leaving the site, I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone involved in the silo project. The new silo bin block looks fantastic and is performing exceptionally well. A special bonus was being able to hand the bins over 22 days ahead of schedule, which wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work of the teams of contractors on site and the flexibility of everyone who adjusted their schedules to return early. I look forward to working with you all again in the future and hope to see you soon."

Chris Armstrong, Maintenance Manager, United Feeds

"Superb installation of the new bin bottom. Myself and the company were very impressed with the quality and level of workmanship."

Ian Hollywood, Project Engineer, Thompsons of York

"A big thanks to all of your engineers for their big effort in difficult circumstances. I think to get it all going on day three was an excellent result and just what was promised."

Stewart Brown, Chief Engineer, Noble Foods

“The Judges were incredibly impressed with ISF’s passion, dedication and innovative approach to growing and developing their employees. Their application flew through and we were delighted to award the Innovation in Training and Development Award to such a well-deserved company – a true merit to the industry.”

Ian Birkinshaw, General Secretary at SHAPA
