Last month, we manufactured a replacement cyclone for one of our long-standing clients, a specialist in micronized animal feed production, ahead of our engineers installing in late October.
The new cyclone has been built to replace an existing one, which had become worn and weathered over time. Replacing now means there is less likelihood of any issues arising with the efficiency of the cyclone which could potentially affect health and safety or production.
The cyclone is a critical part of dust extraction, helping to ensure a clean and safe production process by extracting air from the mill and removing dust from the finished product before packaging.
Effectively this is an efficient separation process which ensures that the final product meets high quality standards.
Our team created a replacement cyclone from mild steel, which was galvanised to ensure durability and superior performance, and designed to withstand the demanding conditions of the feed production environment.
