ISF were challenged to install a larger Ruminant feed cooler in an Animal feed mill in Lancashire to increase the throughput in a very confined area with little head room capable of producing 18tph 6mm -12mm pellets. The VK24x28 TM-KL Geelen cooler was fed by two parallel presses by using stainless steel chain and flight conveyors manufactured by ISF. The cooler was a double deck type to enable a swift change from one ration to another and minimising clean out times. Due to the minimal height available ISF manufactured and installed a bespoke 1200mm wide twin chain and flight discharge conveyor.
