May was a great month for our team! The workshop was busy as usual, and we had a lot of insightful opportunities outside of our projects. Keep reading to find out more about what we got up to!
We were excited to unveil our brand-new video created by Hewitt & Walker, capturing the essence of who we are and what we do. From precision-engineered feed milling solutions manufactured in our York workshop to installations at client sites. Later in the month, we headed to the SHAPA awards where we were shortlisted for not one but two categories! While we didn’t take home the trophies, the night was a fantastic celebration of the achievements across our industry. We were also honoured to take part in the Tietjen Seminar, connecting with our long-standing grinder partner, and share more about ISF through a detailed presentation in front of our industry peers.
Internally, we had plenty of machinery being designed and manufactured in our workshop! The team worked on parts for projects that included elevators, chutes and access for clients near Liverpool, East Yorkshire and Belfast.
Our team completed refresher training in Abrasive Wheels and Working at Height, delivered by The Safety Maintenance Company to bolster our commitment to ongoing training for maximum safety of our team. As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, we reinforced our dedication to employee wellbeing, and highlighted two of our team members, Ashlee Stabbins and Kevin Scott, who are set to become certified Mental Health First Aiders — another step toward a supportive workplace.
