Following another safe year, we have been re-accredited with both the Contractors Health & safety Awareness Scheme (CHAS) and also the Safe Contractor Scheme for Fabrication, Structural Steelwork Erection & Constructional Steelworks which highlights our commitment to sound Health and Safety Management and shows that we can demonstrate that we’re taking responsibility for health and safety.
The assessments involved carrying out a review of our safety policies, procedures, processes, arrangements and records and checked that they meet legal industry requirements.
Derrek Harris, Health and Safety Manager said: “These re-accreditations further demonstrate our commitment to safety and the culture that runs through the business. Having them means that we are able to take responsibility for Health and Safety on behalf of our clients and act as principal contractor under the CDM regulations.”
