A day at the Races

The team swapped the workshop for York Races this month, marking ISF’s annual team day out. Managing Director Iain Scott organises the trip every year as a way of thanking the team for their hard work, and partners joined in on the day too. It’s become a genuine highlight of the ISF calendar, proof that a business built on engineering excellence still knows how to have a good day out.

It’s also been a good month on the quality front. ISF has passed its latest BS EN 1090 audit, the mandatory European standard covering the manufacture of supporting steel and aluminium components. Passing confirms that our fabrication processes, quality controls and technical documentation continue to meet a rigorous, independently assessed standard. For our customers, that means every support structure, access platform, conveyor bridge and piece of structural steelwork we design and fabricate is built to a standard they can rely on. We hold this alongside our ISO 9001 accreditation.

Supporting our community

At ISF, supporting the team goes beyond the workshop. July saw two of our longstanding community partnerships continue. We’re delighted to be sponsoring Dunnington Tennis Club for another year, with the ISF banner back courtside for the season. We’re also continuing our support for Reflex Dance Troupe in Clifton, York, a competitive group that includes the daughter of ISF’s own Ashlee Stabbins among its dancers.
