We are extremely proud to share that one of our apprentices, Ben Houlden, has received his completion certificate from Derwent Training Association after studying his Advanced Level Apprenticeship in Engineering Manufacture (engineering technical support).
Ben has been working at ISF for 2 years, having been put through this course in order to learn the fundamentals of engineering. With two of our existing project managers, David Hukins & Simon Manock, as his mentors, Ben has been employed as an engineering draughtsman where his natural progression will be to also join the project management team.
Due to Ben’s willingness to learn and eager attitude, ISF have decided to enrol him on a more specific HNC Process Engineering course at Teeside University where he will continue to learn the core principles of process engineering, while continuing to gain practical day to day experience working at ISF.
We would just like to say how proud we are of Ben and cannot wait to see where this new exciting opportunity takes him!
