This month, we’re thrilled to welcome back a familiar face — Dave Peden, who has rejoined ISF as Installation Coordinator. After almost five years with us as an Installation Engineer,
Dave left to take on a supervisory role before deciding it was time to return. Now he’s back, bringing valuable experience and a fresh perspective to the team.
We sat down with him to hear more about where he’s been, why he returned, and what he’s looking forward to in his new role.
What did you leave ISF to do?
I left to work as a Plater Supervisor at Hinkley Point (HPC), where I led a team of platers and the Health & Safety team. My role focused on ensuring we met targets safely and efficiently.
What made you return to ISF as Installation Coordinator?
The timing felt right. I wanted to be closer to home for family, and some proposed shift pattern changes at Hinkley didn’t suit me. I already knew the team at ISF and liked the sound of the role, coming back felt like the right move.
What are you enjoying most so far?
Even after almost five years at ISF previously, this job feels completely different! I’m getting to work more with the tech and systems, there’s more organising, and customer interaction. There’s plenty to learn and I’m enjoying the challenge.
What are you most looking forward to?
Learning is a big one for me. You’re never too old to pick up new skills!
What do you do when you’re not at work?
I love playing Golf, so I’ve just joined Forest of Galtres Golf Club.
With his hands-on engineering background and new experience managing large-scale operations, Dave is already making an impact as Installation Coordinator, helping ensure each project runs smoothly from start to finish.
Welcome back to ISF, Dave!
