On 26th July, Team ISF proudly attended the York College & University Centre REACH Awards Ceremony, which aims to commend students and Reward Excellence And Celebrate Hard work.
It’s our third year supporting this fantastic event as sponsors of the Brilliance Award for Engineering. We joined students and apprentices in the racecourse’s Voltigeur Suite to celebrate their achievements with their families, friends and tutors.
We’d like to say a big ISF congratulations to Andy Slodki, who scooped our sponsored award and inspired the judges with his passion, drive and potential.
It was a great evening and a brilliant celebration of young talent, hard work, and ambition. We applauded many successful students of all ages from around the world, including Ukrainian refugee Roman Vinnyk, and Octogenarian Heather Monaghan. Roman was presented with the Principal’s Award, having overcome language barriers to gain the highest possible grade in GCSE Maths Functional Skills. Heather was given the Brilliant Award for Art & Design in recognition of her achievements as a Higher Education Student.
